High Density Pulpers

High density batch pulpers, are suitable for the defibering of all types of waste furnish and cellulose pulp. High consistency operation 12-22% allows for higher friction among the fibers that helps the detachment of ink particles and other contaminants.

  • There is no breaking up of contaminants because of low peripheral speed of rotor.
  • Specific energy is quite low.
  • Steam can be added for specific applications ( wet strength furnish) as well as chemicals.
